| Comment: Thanks to all for the hard work that has gone into putting the reunion together. I really enjoy seeing where people are and what they are doing. It has been longer than it seems. I have never gotten too far from Lakeland for any length of time. I probably never will. We live on the family ranch north of town with cattle, horses and wildlife. Our oldest son, Jerad is now 22 and works with me analyzing property and performing some due diligence. He also does most of the ranch management these days. I am getting too old for mending fence and digging post holes. He is a fine young man and most of his good qualities came from his mother. My youngest son, Beau, will be a senior this year at Mckeel Academy and he is a much better baseball player than student. In that regard he is the "spitting image" (spirit and image) of his father. My wife, Linda Weatherford, Class of 79, puts up with us remarkebly well. God has been good to me! My wife, my boys and my life in general is better than I deserve. I am thankful! I love the picture with Jody, Chris, Ellen, Marla, Debbie and Pam. Boy does that take me back to my childhood. Maybe someday I can figure out how to put some photos on the website. I am looking forward to seeing everyone! The photo is me and Linda doing what we do often...watching baseball at The Blue Devil Classic a couple of months back. | |
