Wow I can't believe how time flies. Thanks to the invention of Facebook I have found my old schoolmates. Maybe you remember me maybe you don't. I think at the time I was in school I may have been considered one of the hippy kids who got into a bit of trouble. But hey who didn't. I have had a very wonderful life and thank God for it each day I have been blessed with 2 beautiful girls with 3 g'babys and 1 on the way. A fantastic,loving hard working husband who sweeps me off my feet. Time fades the memory. I have gone over tons of pictures and it seems like years but only yesterday I was in Lakeland. We moved after my 1st year at Lakeland highschool . I missed so much of the highschool life because of moving. I spent 2 years in Nevada and graduated in San Diego my last year. I did not graduate with my class I was told my credits that were transferred was not enough to graduate then on to summer school to get my last credits to get my piece of paper. Lakeland has always been in my heart so here I am wanting to be a part of the Class Of 77. Feel free to send me an email. It sure was fun browsing through all the photos and seeing what everyone is up to these days. I married a pilot who is also a LHS Class of '77 graduate; Jack Marquis. We live in Lakeland and just celebrated our 10th anniversary! We each have a child from a previous marriage; my daughter graduated from LHS in 2004 and Jack's son is currently attending his 1st year at George Jenkins H.S. and is on the JV football team. I also have a niece that is on the LHS JV Cheerleading squad which should make for a very exciting LHS and Jenkins football game! Looking forward to seeing everyone, cathing up and having some FUN!! |
